Silicon baking cups by Wilton

They’re non-stick. Unlike traditional baking pans, there is absolutely no need to grease and flour these silicone baking cups. The first set I bought are the ones at the back, the four round cupcake cups with feet. My daughter, Sam, discovered them at Living Well (Mall of Asia branch), showed them to me and I just fell in love with them. I have used them several times (see the carrot cupcakes and the self-frosting peanut butter cupcake entries) and found them so easy and convenient to use that when I saw the square and heart-shaped ones several months later, I bought them too. When I bake cupcakes or muffins, it’s usually in batches of 12 so the four cups with feet were not enough and I had been using them only as extras for whatever didn’t fit in my muffin tray.

Square and heart-shaped silicone baking cups

They’re not exactly cheap but silicone bakeware are so durable and I consider them a good investment. The Silly Feet! Silicone Baking Cups come in sets of four while the square and heart-shaped ones come in sets of 12.

Silicone bakeware

Are these silicone baking cups only good for making cupcakes and muffins? No, I baked omelets in them and the result was fantastic.

The price is P445 per set at Living Well. If you’re fortunate enough to chance upon a Living Well sale, it’s likely that you can get them for less.

Wow, super cute!! A heartshape and square muffin pans!! I really want to have those, especially now that my daughter is always asking for a heart shape cupcake. I really dont know where she got the idea, she’s just 4 yrs old. I havent seen that kind here in our place, the disadvantage of living in the province where the department stores are just very few and very limited stocks..:-(

Hi Ate Connie!
