One of the amenities of staying at the Olympia Somerset in Makati is you can order room service from the Old Swiss Inn Restaurant which sits right next to it. I stayed there last year and had this open-faced corned beef sandwich and roasted vegetable salad for dinner. Now that’s my idea of corned beef — slab of well-seasoned and tender beef sliced thinly and not the mush that we find inside cans these days.
